Co-sponsorship of Classroom Visitors and Public Speakers

The Rockefeller Center supports faculty who want to invite distinguished scholars, policymakers, political figures, journalists, or other civically engaged leaders and activists to campus.

17W Public Program

During his visit to campus, Harry Enten ’11, chief political writer for fivethiryeight.com, participates in a public event, preceded by a student dinner and a classroom visit to Professor Dean Lacy’s course, Advanced Political Analysis.

About the Program

The Rockefeller Center co-sponsors public programs with Social Science Departments throughout the academic year. These public programs may feature a classroom visitor who will also deliver a public lecture and participate in student and faculty engagements.

Levels of Co-sponsorships

  1. Promotion only.
  2. Contribution and promotion.
  3. Full logistical support of the visit and hosting of the public event.

Faculty who are interested in co-sponsoring a visit by a distinguished scholar, policymaker, political figure, journalist, or other civically engaged leaders and activists are encouraged to submit an online classroom visitor and public speaker request form, which can be found on the Rockefeller Center website.
