Student Facilitators

D-LAB recruits and trains a strong and cohesive team of student leaders each year. Equipped with facilitation skills, student facilitators lead reflection exercises and discussions that position them as mentors to their first-year student group. As facilitators, students are responsible for catalyzing important discussions about values and leadership in action.

Student facilitator involvement includes the following:

  • Winter term:
    • Three training sessions (9 hours total)
    • Co-facilitation of six 2-hour sessions with first-year students

Sophomores, juniors, or seniors interested in becoming D-LAB facilitators apply here.

Applicants will complete a group interview and, if needed, a one on one interview. Students need to only be on campus the winter term to participate as facilitators. Facilitators interested in participating in D-LAB for the year 2017-2018 should apply by 11:59PM (EST) Sunday, October 22rd, 2017.
