Student Facilitators

D-LAB recruits and trains a strong and cohesive team of student leaders each year. Equipped with facilitation skills, student facilitators lead reflection exercises and discussions that position them as mentors to their first-year student group. As facilitators, students are responsible for catalyzing important discussions about values and leadership in action.

Student facilitator involvement includes the following:

  • Fall term: six two-hour training sessions
  • Winter term: facilitation of six two-hour sessions with first-year students

Rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors interested in becoming D-LAB facilitators must complete an application by the deadline. Applicants will then complete both a one-on-one interview and a group interview. Students must be on campus both fall and winter terms to participate as facilitators.

Facilitators interested in participating in D-LAB for the year 2016-2017 should apply up by Sunday, October 2nd, 2016.
