About the organization:  The Brookings Institution is a leading think tank on various areas of national public policy. Brookings traces its foundation back to 1916, when a group of experts founded the Institute for Government Research, the first private organization devoted to analyzing public policy issues at the national level. Since then, Brookings has developed a name for itself as a leading think tank.

Duties and Qualifications:  Interns at Brookings must be upper level undergraduate students seeking a degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, government, economics, etc. Interns will assist with the organization of seminars, head the distribution of publications, undertake research into issues of interest, contribute to project reports, papers, and briefing memos, assist with the website and social media accounts, and attend meetings and events on behalf of the assigned project.
